Charge
The Committee on Standardized Testing is charged with reviewing the university’s admissions testing policies and practices, including previously gathered data. The committee will identify additional questions and data that should be considered to ensure a comprehensive evaluation. It will assess the benefits and drawbacks of remaining test-optional versus returning to a test-mandatory policy, taking into account institutional goals and national trends. The committee will provide its initial thoughts by the end of October, with formal recommendations expected to be delievered to the Provost by mid-November.
